Multiple Israeli airstrikes killed at least three dozen Palestinians in southern Gaza, health workers reported on Saturday. Amid this chaos, officials including a Hamas delegation convened for high-level cease-fire talks in neighboring Egypt.

Among the deceased were 11 members of a single family, including two children, who died after an airstrike hit their home in Khan Younis. Nasser Hospital confirmed receiving 33 bodies from three airstrikes in the city, which also targeted tuk-tuks and passersby. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported receiving three bodies from another strike.

The Israeli military is investigating these reports. First responders recovered additional bodies in various locations, including 16 in Hamad City, where residents returned to destroyed homes. The war began on October 7 when Hamas and militants attacked Israel, killing about 1,200 people. Israel's response has killed more than 40,000 Palestinians, forcing many to flee homes for shrinking 'humanitarian zones.'
