R Ashoka, Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly, has disclosed that internal discussions are brewing within the ruling Congress party regarding the replacement of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. According to Ashoka, a political game of 'musical chairs' is underway among senior leaders and ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, all eyeing the top job.

These comments from the BJP leader follow reports that the Congress is contemplating a leadership change, particularly in light of potential investigations into Siddaramaiah. The Governor recently granted sanction for prosecution against Siddaramaiah, which has compounded the political unrest.

Senior Congress leaders, including Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar, and several ministers, held discussions with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. Meanwhile, Ashoka firmly denies any BJP involvement in destabilizing the government, claiming the 'musical chair' scenario is purely an internal Congress matter.
