Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday addressed concerns about misinformation circulating around the state government's Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme, assuring women that no one can withdraw money from their accounts.
Speaking at a programme in Kolhapur, which also saw the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Pawar emphasized the importance of not falling prey to misinformation.
Pawar further commended Kolhapur's farmers for their prompt repayment of farm loans and power bills and announced a Rs 50,000 financial aid provision for farmers.
