Madhya Pradesh Congress Protests Allegations Against SEBI Chief and Adani Group

The Madhya Pradesh Congress organized a protest seeking an investigation into allegations by Hindenburg Research against SEBI chief Madhabi Buch and the Gautam Adani group. Two MLAs were injured during the protest. Protesters, led by MP Congress chief Jitu Patwari, demanded a joint parliamentary committee probe into the allegations.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress staged a protest on Thursday demanding an inquiry into the allegations made by Hindenburg Research against SEBI chief Madhabi Buch and the Gautam Adani group.

During the demonstration, police used a water cannon to disperse the crowd, causing two MLAs, Arif Masood and Mahesh Parmar, to fall after being hit by the spray. The protesters, led by MP Congress chief Jitu Patwari, sought a probe into the alleged 'Adani group share scam'.

MP Congress chief Jitu Patwari, holding a placard, called for a joint parliamentary committee to examine the claims. Meanwhile, Buch and her husband have dismissed the allegations as baseless, and the Adani Group termed them as malicious.
