Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party (SP) of involvement in several incidents of rape and molestation, labeling them the 'nawab brand' of the SP. He pointed to recent cases in Ayodhya, Gomtinagar, and Kannauj as examples.
The Chief Minister referred to the alleged rape of a minor by former SP block head Nawab Singh Yadav in Kannauj. He also mentioned the arrest of an SP leader in connection with a minor's rape in Ayodhya, and a molestation incident in Lucknow's Gomtinagar.
In his speech at the BJP's 2024 membership campaign workshop, Adityanath urged workers to recruit more members by visiting various communities, including slums and Dalit colonies. He also criticized SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for allegedly protecting criminals amid political unrest. Adityanath emphasized that the BJP is essential for political stability in the country.
