RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday claimed that the 'lateral entry' policy in bureaucracy is designed to appoint individuals with RSS affiliations, the ideological backbone of the BJP.

The former Bihar deputy chief minister expressed discontent with the Union government's request to the UPSC to withdraw a controversial advertisement for lateral entry recruitments.

'How did the UPSC release such an advertisement?' Yadav queried, asserting that the Centre's actions follow its anti-reservation and unconstitutional agenda.

Yadav charged that the recruitment plan intended to infiltrate bureaucracy with RSS supporters. He pledged continued resistance against the government's covert strategies.

He also criticized NDA allies like Bihar's CM Nitish Kumar and ministers Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan for their silence on the matter.

Highlighting the 2002 Gujarat riots, Yadav suggested Chirag Paswan reflect on his late father's uncompromising stance against minority atrocities.

Yadav pointed to a recent notification advertising over 300 unreserved posts for ICAR, under the Union Agriculture Ministry, as another instance of the government's clandestine agenda. He denounced the silence of Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

'We will persist in our fight against a government that believes marginalized communities are only fit for menial jobs,' Yadav vowed, condemning complicit BJP and NDA leaders.
