Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was met with protests as he embarked on his Jan Samman Yatra in Pune's Junnar area on Sunday. Demonstrators waved black flags and BJP flags, accusing Pawar of sidelining coalition allies in official functions.
NCP spokesperson Amol Mitkari called on BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to address the incident, expressing frustration over what he termed a separate agenda from the BJP supporters.
During the Yatra, Pawar held discussions with tourism officials and environmentalists, stressing that development projects should prioritize environmental sustainability.
