NCP MLA Rajendra Shingne has claimed that his decision to side with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stemmed from challenges endured by a cooperative bank closely linked to him. This shift occurred following a split within the NCP last year.
Ajit Pawar, along with several MLAs, allied with the Shiv Sena-BJP government, causing a division in the Nationalist Congress Party, founded by Sharad Pawar. Speaking at a recent event in Wardha, Shingne, MLA for Sindkhed Raja, Buldhana district, reaffirmed his respect for Sharad Pawar.
Shingne emphasized his 30-year association with Sharad Pawar, acknowledging the pivotal role the leader played in his political journey. He cited the necessity to side with Ajit Pawar due to the cooperative bank's financial troubles, which received Rs 300 crore from the government while reiterating his indebtedness to Sharad Pawar.
