Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia has stated that the decision on an alliance with Congress for the Delhi Assembly polls will be made after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal walks out of prison.
Speaking with PTI editors, Sisodia noted the crucial role of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) in limiting BJP's majority in the recent Lok Sabha elections. However, he pointed out that assembly polls present different challenges.
Sisodia, who was recently released from Tihar jail, accused the BJP-led Centre of misusing the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and urged opposition parties to unite against it. He assured that the AAP's morale remains high and announced plans for 'padyatras' across Delhi's 70 assembly constituencies ahead of the February polls.
