Former Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leaders Sunil Sangwan, Sanjay Kablana, and Devender Singh Babli officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. The announcement was made by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, who extended a warm welcome to the new members and hailed the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Singh highlighted the party's rapid growth, noting, 'Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the party is growing steadily. Today, BJP holds power in 20 states and has secured a third term at the center, a rare feat in the past sixty years.' He also emphasized the favorable political climate in Haryana and the public's enthusiasm for a third BJP term in the state.

The general secretary commended Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini for the state government's achievements, stating, 'The government has accomplished more than 100 significant initiatives. This is why leaders from other parties are joining BJP, which will undoubtedly secure a third term in Haryana.'

Former Tripura Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Biplap Deb also applauded the new inductees and noted that three other former MLAs, including the Mayor of Ambala, joined BJP on Sunday. 'The trend of new members joining showcases the widespread support for BJP in Haryana,' said Deb. Haryana BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli also attended the welcoming ceremony.

The Haryana elections are scheduled to occur in a single phase on October 5, with vote counting set for October 8. (ANI)
