Election Commission's Preparations for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Polls

The upcoming assembly elections will be the first since the repeal of Article 370 and the division of the erstwhile state into two Union Territories. The Commission has been proactive, ordering officer transfers and updating electoral rolls in preparation for the elections.
