Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the procurement of all crops at the minimum support price (MSP) and waived Rs 133 crore in outstanding canal water irrigation charges. This move is part of the BJP's election campaign launch in the state.

Saini also declared that pending compensation amounting to Rs 137 crore will be paid within a week to farmers affected by natural calamities in various districts. Further, he noted that farmers will now be able to purchase three-star motors from any company nationwide for new tubewell connections, simplifying the process considerably.
