In a recent address, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy pointed to the Congress party's 2014 Assembly poll defeat, blaming the failure to name S Jaipal Reddy as the chief ministerial candidate despite the formation of Telangana state.

Revanth Reddy explained it was Jaipal Reddy who had suggested the passage of the Telangana bill in Lok Sabha. He unveiled a statue of Jaipal Reddy in Kalwakurthy, expressing that not naming him CM candidate was a strategic error.

Asserting the implementation of Congress's promises, Reddy announced the successful release of Rs 6,000 crore under the farm loan waiver scheme and detailed future fund releases. Criticizing the opposition BRS leaders for lack of coordination, Reddy assured Telangana's cultural preservation at the Qutb Shahi Heritage Park event.
