In a strategic move following a setback in the Lok Sabha elections, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is spearheading the 'Jansanvad Yatra' to galvanize support for the forthcoming Maharashtra assembly polls. The outreach program, announced by NCP Maharashtra unit president Sunil Tatkare, will kick off in Nashik.

Addressing party workers, Tatkare lauded Pawar's efforts in initiating welfare projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore. He stressed the significance of these schemes for women, youths, and farmers, attributing them to Pawar's effective political acumen developed over 35 years.

Tatkare also touched on the NCP's internal dynamics and external coalition strategies for the upcoming elections, particularly underlining the importance of the 'Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana,' a scheme designed to financially support women aged 21-65.
