Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched a sharp critique against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Venzy Viegas, asserting in the legislative assembly that he would end up in jail if he embraced the career guidance models suggested by Viegas.
Taking an indirect swipe at Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal, who is presently held in Tihar jail under allegations of an excise scam, Sawant remarked, "One fellow is already in jail."
The confrontation came amidst a discussion on career guidance programs for students during the ongoing monsoon session. Viegas claimed that the government's approach to career guidance was ineffective, suggesting the need for AI-based personalized career paths. Sawant defended the government's efforts, highlighting various initiatives in career counseling and skill development.
