In a fiery exchange following the Supreme Court's decision not to cancel the NEET-UG 2024 exam, Congress leader Manickam Tagore labeled Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as 'shameless.' Tagore criticized Pradhan for celebrating the verdict and shifting the blame instead of resigning over a morally compromising paper leak.

Tagore's remarks were in response to Pradhan's social media post urging Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to apologize for allegedly manipulating the sentiments of numerous students and parents regarding the NEET-UG controversy. Pradhan praised the Supreme Court's decision, claiming that it would provide clarity and relief to hardworking students.

BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad joined the fray, questioning Rahul Gandhi's derogatory comments about the examination system. The Supreme Court had on Tuesday confirmed that there was no systemic breach in the NEET-UG 2024 exam, which was conducted as scheduled on May 5.
