Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday urged party members to mobilize actively for the upcoming Assembly by-elections in 10 seats and the 2027 Assembly elections. Speaking at the state working committee meeting at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Auditorium of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, CM Yogi stressed the need to hoist the BJP flag once again in the state.

He called on Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs, MLAs, MLCs, District Panchayat Presidents, Mayors, Block Pramukhs, Chairmen, and Councilors to begin preparing for the 2027 elections immediately. 'We have to hoist the BJP flag in the state once again. BJP leaders and workers need to be highly active on social media and refute any rumors immediately,' he said.

CM Yogi noted that under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, they had maintained continuous pressure on the opposition in UP, achieving significant success in 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2022. Despite retaining voter support, overconfidence and shifting votes had impacted their expectations. He warned that the opposition, which had previously accepted defeat, is now gaining momentum.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the law and order achievements, stating that 2022 saw the opposition resorting to violence post-elections and that their Mafia-free UP campaign had successfully restored order. He mentioned the significant progress in Ayodhya, where the 500-year wait ended with Shri Ramlala's installation in his temple.

CM Yogi urged BJP workers to leverage social media effectively. 'Opposition forces and foreigners have used social media to further their conspiracies. As a nationalist party, BJP workers must monitor social media closely and counteract any misinformation immediately,' he asserted. (ANI)
