BRS Legislators Join Congress Amid Telangana Development Push

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stated on Sunday that BRS legislators are transitioning to the ruling Congress party to support Telangana's development, a vision shared by his administration.
Speaking at a safety kit distribution event, Reddy emphasized that these MLAs are motivated by the Congress's development agenda and not by political gain. He criticized the previous BRS regime for pushing Telangana into a debt of Rs 7 lakh crore.
Since taking office, multiple BRS MLAs and senior leaders, including Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, have joined Congress. Reddy outlined future plans for significant projects, including extending Metro Rail and developing tourism hubs.
