Groundbreaking Developments in Space: NASA, SpaceX, and Lunar Discoveries
NASA is set to decide by Saturday whether astronauts who flew aboard Boeing's glitchy Starliner will return to Earth via SpaceX. SpaceX will undertake a risky private spacewalk next week, testing new technology. Chinese scientists have discovered a novel method of generating water using lunar soil.
NASA announced on Thursday that a decision regarding the return transportation for astronauts aboard Boeing's troubled Starliner spacecraft will be made by Saturday. The agency is considering the use of a SpaceX vehicle to bring the crew back to Earth.
In a groundbreaking move, SpaceX is set to conduct the first private spacewalk next week. The mission, which will test innovative equipment such as slim spacesuits and a cabin devoid of an airlock, represents one of the company's most daring endeavours.
Chinese researchers have discovered a revolutionary method to produce water using soil from the moon. This water generation process involves using hydrogen found in lunar minerals, heated to extreme temperatures, to create water vapour. This leap in lunar science was reported by state media on Thursday.
