Social activist Snehamayi Krishna has found himself embroiled in legal trouble following allegations from a Congress leader. He has been accused of spreading false information against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to incite fear among the public.
The controversy centers around a Facebook post by Krishna that questioned the legality of site allotments by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) to Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathi B M. The post has led to an FIR, naming the Chief Minister and family members as accused in the investigation.
The Karnataka High Court has issued notices to those involved, including the Chief Minister and state institutions, as a writ petition seeks to escalate the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The next court hearing is set for November 26.
