High Stakes Bypoll: Voter Turnout in Bihar Assembly Seats

In a significant electoral exercise, Bihar witnessed by-elections in four essential assembly constituencies: Tarari, Imamganj, Belaganj, and Ramgarh, registering a voter turnout of 45.3% by 3 pm.
According to the Election Commission's data, Ramgarh led with 47.73% voter turnout, followed closely by Imamganj with 46.98%, Belaganj with 43.81%, and Tarari at 42.7%. These seats became vacant after their respective MLAs were elected to the Lok Sabha.
More than 12 lakh voters are eligible to cast their votes in this crucial by-election. Voting stations, totaling 1,277, are handling the electoral process, with counting set to take place on November 23.
