The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) in Hamirpur has published results for various written examinations, as declared by its secretary Vikram Mahajan. This development follows the disbandment of the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) due to a paper leak scandal.

Among the announcements, four candidates have made it to the shortlist for the position of lab assistant, while five are in contention for the role of assistant computer programmer. For the dispenser posts, 33 candidates have passed the exam, and document verification for two fisheries officer posts is set for November 18.

The controversy surrounding the HPSSC grew after its senior assistant, Uma Azad, was arrested with a solved question paper and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash on December 23, 2022, leading to withholding of results for several exams. Following these incidents, HPSSC was replaced by the newly formed HPRCA.
