In a stern warning against fraudulent practices, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant declared his resolve to crack down on individuals duping citizens with false promises of government jobs. Addressing the media post-cabinet meeting, Sawant assured that offenders would face strict legal action.
The chief minister revealed that numerous cases have been filed by the police against those involved in job scams across the state. He urged the public to be cautious and avoid falling victim to such deceitful tactics, highlighting that no official government advertisements were issued for the alleged positions.
Reaffirming the government's commitment to transparency, Sawant reiterated that all vacancies are filled through the state-appointed Staff Selection Commission. Recent action includes the arrest of a woman, Puja Naik, linked to these fraudulent activities, and measures against officials aiding the scams.
