A woman and her two sons who vanished from their home in Maharashtra's Thane district two months ago have been located in Uttar Pradesh, authorities confirmed on Friday.

Sujata Mithlesh Chowdhary, aged 40, along with her sons Abhijit, 22, and Aditya, 19, were reported missing from Mira Road in August, according to senior inspector Rahul Rakha.

Inquiries began after the husband filed a missing person's report at Kashimira police station. Using several technical and intelligence inputs, the police tracked them to Varanasi. Investigations uncovered that the sons had left home following losses in stock market trades, fearing the consequences. The family has since been reunited.
