Tragedy in Fatehpur: Mystery Surrounds Discovery of Bodies

In a shocking discovery, the bodies of a young woman and a one-year-old girl were found in bushes near a drain in the Malwan area of Fatehpur district, Uttar Pradesh, authorities disclosed on Tuesday. Police were alerted by locals in Bajapur village on Monday evening.
According to Vijay Shankar Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police, Fatehpur, both victims were found around 7 p.m. Their bodies appeared to be two to three days old, pointing towards a murder using a sharp weapon, before they were discarded in the underbrush.
The bodies have been transferred to a morgue, and police are urgently working to trace any missing person reports from nearby districts. The grim incident has prompted a rigorous police investigation in the area.
