In a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi labeled the incident as a 'cowardly and unforgivable crime.' The attack tragically resulted in the deaths of several individuals, including a doctor and migrant laborers.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha echoed these sentiments, promising that the perpetrators would face justice. He assured the public, stating, 'We have given full freedom to J&K Police, Army, and Security forces,' to ensure such despicable acts do not go unpunished. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also voiced his disapproval, condemning the attack on non-local laborers in Gagangeer.
Former Chief Minister and DPAP chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad denounced the killings as 'an act against humanity.' As the authorities continue investigating, the Kashmir Zone Police have cordoned off the area, ensuring that further detailed information will follow regarding this incident.
