Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted on Police Commemoration Day that India will persist in its battle against terrorism, infiltration, and conspiracies to incite religious tension, despite the attainment of relative peace in Jammu, Kashmir, and Naxal-hit regions.
Shah honored police martyrs, reminding their families that their sacrifices fuel the vision of a developed India by 2047. He highlighted initiatives for police welfare and efforts to modernize the legal system, which includes the Ayushman CAPF scheme for medical treatment.
Shah underscored the establishment of three new criminal laws to enhance justice delivery, projecting that the Indian criminal justice system will be one of the most advanced within three years of registering a case.
