India and Seychelles Strengthen Audit Ties with Historic Agreement

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has entered into an agreement with the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of Seychelles to bolster collaboration in the auditing sector. This strategic partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and enhance professional ties between the two nations.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Supreme Audit Institutions signifies a step towards comprehensive cooperation in developing auditing capabilities. The CAG release emphasized the potential for knowledge sharing and professional development through this agreement.
Girish Chandra Murmu, CAG of India, expressed optimism about the MoU's potential to elevate bilateral relations. His meetings with key Seychelles officials further underscored the importance of the role auditors play in supporting legislative mandates in their respective countries.
