The Delhi Police raided the residence of a head constable from the Uttar Pradesh Police in Meerut, in connection with a robbery that occurred in Delhi's Kirti Nagar. This operation marks the latest development in the ongoing investigation, according to police officials.

The head constable, Veer Singh, is currently stationed in Shamli district and resides in Jani. While information about the raid remains sparse, Jani Police Station House Officer Pankaj Singh confirmed that the operation was conducted for a recovery operation related to the robbery case. He noted that the Delhi Police team registered at the local station post-raid.

Officials suggested that some items linked to the robbery were recovered from the constable's home, though specifics were not disclosed. Furthermore, Delhi Police reportedly arrived with a man named Sohanveer, believed to be Singh's relative. Local authorities refrained from commenting further, stating that conclusive details are within Delhi Police's purview.
