During a ceremony where he officiated the marriages of 31 couples, the Chief Minister noted that while the delimitation process might tempt couples to consider expanding their families, it should not overshadow the value of smaller, prosperous families. The focus, he insists, should remain on perpetuating Tamil cultural traditions.

Historically, blessings for newlyweds in Tamil Nadu encompass acquiring a prosperous life featuring various forms of wealth, not solely having many children.
