A blast near a CRPF school in Delhi's Prashant Vihar on Sunday has intensified political tensions over the city's law and order. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) asserted that the incident highlights the central government's failure to protect citizens, accusing the BJP of focusing on hindering local government work instead.

Chief Minister Atishi launched a scathing attack on the BJP, claiming that Delhi's security situation mirrors the underworld conditions of 1990s Mumbai. She warned that the BJP's leadership could also jeopardize essential services like schools and hospitals. In response, BJP leader Vijender Gupta labeled Atishi's statements as "irresponsible" and accused the AAP of politicizing security issues to mask their own shortcomings.

AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj targeted Lt. Governor V K Saxena, questioning his absence at the blast site. Forensic experts discovered a suspicious white powder at the scene, raising further concerns as violence, including extortions and shootings, reportedly escalates in Delhi.
