To restore order, police applied limited force to disperse the crowd. Five individuals were subsequently detained in connection with the protests, according to official reports.
The rally took place outside the Deputy Commissioner's office, with participants voicing their opposition to the meter installations through organized roadblocks and other peaceful means.
