Pathak, representing the Vijayraghavgarh constituency, is noted for substantial wealth, claiming assets worth Rs 242 crore in the latest elections. Pathak reported the tampering incident to police officials in Madhya Pradesh.
Katni district collector Dilip Yadav confirmed the complaint's escalation to concerned officials. Superintendent Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan oversees the investigation, hinting at a potential independent probe. Authorities traced activity to a Delhi computer, though no arrests have been made.
