Exorcist Accused of Heinous Crime in Janakpuri
An exorcist named Atiq Ahmad is being sought by police after allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl in Janakpuri. The crime occurred under the guise of exorcism, and a FIR has been filed under POCSO guidelines. The incident has sparked a manhunt by local law enforcement.

In a deeply troubling incident, police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against an exorcist, identified as Atiq Ahmad, for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl. The crime, which reportedly took place in Janakpuri, was disguised as an act of exorcism.
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Abhimanyu Manglik revealed that the girl's parents originally took her to the exorcist's residence based on purported 'tantra-mantra' rituals. The accused called the child into his room and allegedly committed the crime.
A complaint was immediately lodged by the victim's parents, leading to a FIR registration under the stringent provisions of the BNS and POCSO Act. Authorities have launched a manhunt as the suspect remains at large.
