Three men were apprehended following a shootout with police early Tuesday, in connection with the murder of a woman, according to officials.
The suspects, who were also injured during the encounter, were taken into custody in the Akhandnagar police station area.
Additional Superintendent of Police Akhand Pratap Singh revealed that the victim, identified as Priyanka, was reported missing in June and later found dead due to asphyxiation. Suspects Salman, Shahanshah, Sarwar, and Javed were implicated in the murder. Further legal proceedings are ongoing.
