The Punjab Police have successfully uncovered a major drug syndicate, culminating in the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of 1.50 kg of heroin. The illicit drugs were cleverly concealed within half-sleeve jackets, according to Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav.

The suspects, identified as Sukhdeep Singh alias Raja from Bhana in Faridkot, and Krishan from Ajaib in Rohtak, were also using a car under the pretense of operating a taxi to facilitate their smuggling operations.

Preliminary investigations reveal that these men obtained the heroin from an Afghan national in Delhi, indicating an extensive network with international drug cartels. Efforts are ongoing to capture their associate, Lakhwinder Singh, a key player with multiple drug cases, and unravel the complexity of the syndicate.
