In a significant development, Punjab Police announced on Sunday that they had dismantled a major cross-border drug smuggling racket, seizing six kilograms of heroin and over 60 cartridges.

The operation was spearheaded by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) in Amritsar, according to Director General of Police, Gauarv Yadav.
