Unidentified individuals have reportedly vandalized a statue of B.R. Ambedkar inside a park at Belasda village in the Sultanpur district, drawing attention from local authorities.

The authorities have initiated an investigation into the destruction of the statue, which had a long-standing presence in Ambedkar Park. On Thursday morning, villagers discovered the statue disfigured and reported it to the police.

Sub-Inspector Satyendra Kumar Singh of Kotwali Dehat police station stated, “We are investigating the incident. The damaged statue has been repaired and legal action will follow based on the complaint filed.”
