In Madhya Pradesh, Congress MLAs raised serious concerns with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday, alleging discrimination in the allocation of development funds to their constituencies.
Led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, the delegation demanded the fulfillment of the BJP government's promise on minimum support prices for crops and highlighted systemic biases against minority communities. Singhar emphasized that MLAs represent the people, urging Yadav to ensure justice for all constituencies.
Chief Minister Yadav assured the Congress legislators that he would review the department within a week and take necessary actions. He encouraged MLAs from both parties to develop vision documents for their areas, pledging equitable support in their developmental goals. Singhar also drew attention to issues of law and order, women's safety, and the need for a probe into the Jal Jeevan Mission.
