BRS Working President K T Rama Rao on Wednesday raised serious concerns about the Telangana Congress government's Musi river redevelopment project, citing inconsistent cost estimates provided by the authorities.
Rama Rao accused the government of attempting to award contracts for the project to companies associated with Pakistan. He highlighted the nearing completion of Sewerage Treatment Plants (STPs) launched during the BRS regime.
While appreciating the work done on STPs, he questioned the true intentions behind the Musi project, urging the government to focus on fulfilling its election promises and criticizing the recent establishment of the HYDRA agency for demolitions.
