Tragic Incident in Geeta Colony: Husband Allegedly Kills Wife Over Suspicions

A 27-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband in Delhi's Geeta Colony. The police responded to a call and found the woman with her throat slit. Her husband, Kishan Lal, was arrested at the scene. It is alleged that Lal grew suspicious of his wife's character.

A distressing incident unfolded in the Geeta Colony area of Delhi's Shahdara, where a 27-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband, police reported on Saturday.

Authorities were alerted early on Saturday to the discovery of the woman with her throat slit in her home. Upon arrival, the police found the door locked from the inside and subsequently broke in.

The woman's husband, Kishan Lal, was inside and was promptly apprehended. According to police, Lal had grown suspicious of his wife's character and allegedly committed the fatal act. A case has been registered, and Lal is currently in custody.
