Teenage Girl Survives Horrific Gang Rape in North Tripura
A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped, gang-raped, and abandoned in a jungle in North Tripura by two men. The victim, now recovering in a hospital, was found by locals. Police have arrested the suspects and are pursuing a rigorous investigation to ensure justice.

A 16-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped, gang-raped, and left in a jungle by two men in North Tripura district, according to police on Friday.
The victim, suffering multiple injuries, is receiving treatment at Dharmanagar district hospital.
Authorities have detained two suspects linked to the Thursday incident. Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty revealed that the girl was abducted on a village road by two bikers, taken to a jungle, and assaulted.
The suspects fled after the crime, leaving the girl unconscious; villagers later discovered and informed her family. The girl's elder sister said she was initially taken to Uptakhali health facility before being referred to Dharmanagar hospital.
The SP assured that the case is being taken seriously, with a team formed for thorough investigation and the suspects set to be produced in court. Chakraborty visited the victim and confirmed she is out of danger.
