Massive Mephedrone Haul: Two Arrested in Ahmedabad Drug Bust
Police in Ahmedabad intercepted a large consignment of mephedrone worth Rs 98.40 lakh, hidden in a deflated spare wheel. Two men, Asim Hussain Saiyed and Vishnu Vadi, were arrested. The drugs were reportedly smuggled from Rajasthan by Vadi. Further investigation is ongoing.

In a significant drug bust, police in Ahmedabad seized mephedrone worth Rs 98.40 lakh concealed in a deflated spare wheel and arrested two men on Thursday.
Authorities identified the suspects as Asim Hussain Saiyed and Vishnu Vadi. The drugs, smuggled from Rajasthan, were hidden in packets within the tire, only discovered after removing its airless tube.
Further investigations revealed Vadi procured the mephedrone from an individual named Atiq in Udaipur, planning to distribute the drugs in Ahmedabad. The probe continues.
