Three men have been arrested for allegedly stabbing a laborer to death following an argument while drinking on a southwest Delhi pavement, police reported on Wednesday. The victim, John Madrasi, 40, who was homeless and spent nights on pavements, was found dead under Masoodpur Flyover on Tuesday evening.

Police received a call about a male body at 8:13 pm and, upon arriving at the scene, discovered Madrasi in a pool of blood. CCTV footage revealed three men fleeing the scene around 6:45 pm. Subsequently, Aman, 21, Aamir, 18, and Jeewan, 27, were apprehended in the area early Wednesday morning.

During interrogation, it was uncovered that the trio had been drinking with John. Aman became agitated after John objected to vomit near his bedding, leading to an escalating argument. Aman attacked John with a broken bottle, and Jeewan allegedly stabbed him with a knife before the trio fled, police said.
