Shock in Thane: 24-Year-Old Molests 11-Year-Old Girl

A 24-year-old man allegedly molested an 11-year-old girl while she was playing outside her home in Thane's Chitalsar Manpada area. The incident occurred on Monday night. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act and section 76 of the Indian Penal Code at Kapurbawdi police station.

The accused allegedly approached the young girl under a false pretext, grabbed her hand, and touched her inappropriately. This alarming episode was confirmed by a police official on Tuesday.

A case has been registered against the man at Kapurbawdi police station. He faces charges under section 76 of the Indian Penal Code, which pertains to assault with intent to disrobe a woman, and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
