Police have seized over Rs 9 lakh in cash from a man in a Nathupur village raid on Monday, an officer confirmed.
The accused, identified as Dharambir Singh from Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi, was reportedly found with unaccounted funds following a tip-off received by the Sikandarpur Crime Branch.
Authorities conducted a raid, recovering Rs 9.3 lakh in cash from Singh's rented room. Singh could not satisfactorily explain the source of the money, prompting the police to confiscate the cash and inform the Income Tax Department for further action, according to a Gurugram police spokesperson.
