The Himachal Pradesh High Court has taken a firm stance against a teacher who hosted her son's wedding on the premises of a government school in Hamirpur.
The court directed the teacher to install two water purifiers on the school campus, reprimanding her actions which were in violation of a 2012 court order forbidding political or private events in government schools.
Justice Ajay Mohan Goyal emphasized the importance of compliance and has summoned the retired headmaster for the next hearing on October 18, warning of potential contempt of court actions.
