22-Year-Old Stabbed to Death in Patiala: Police on Hunt for Assailants

A 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed by a group of five in Punjab's bustling Patiala district, authorities reported on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Karan, was attacked on Friday evening while riding a bike with a friend. According to police, three men on motorcycles pushed Karan off the bike in the Bapu Singh colony area. Two additional men joined the attack and surrounded him. Karan was severely beaten before being stabbed in the chest.

The brutal attack was captured by a CCTV camera in Ablowal, providing crucial evidence. Karan was rushed to Rajindra Hospital Patiala, but was declared dead due to significant blood loss. An FIR has been filed, and investigations are ongoing. Three of the five suspects have been named: Ansh, Amanmeet, and Yuvraj. Police suggest that an old enmity may have been the motive behind the murder.
