Notorious Criminals Nabbed in Joint Operations by STF and Police

In a significant breakthrough, police in collaboration with the Special Task Force (STF) arrested two notorious criminals in separate operations. Ranjit Choudhary, who carried a bounty of Rs 2 lakh, was apprehended in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Choudhary, implicated in 27 cases including murder and extortion, was brought to Patna on transit remand. The joint efforts of Bihar and Uttarakhand Police led to his capture, demonstrating inter-state cooperation in tackling crime.
Meanwhile, in another operation, the STF and Darbhanga Police nabbed Azad Thakur, a criminal with a Rs 50,000 bounty, on charges of extortion. Both arrests highlight the relentless pursuit of law enforcement agencies to curb criminal activities.
