Outrage After Self-Defense Trainer Arrested for Assaulting 11-Year-Old in Delhi School

An 11-year-old student at a government school in Sultanpuri, outer Delhi, was allegedly sexually assaulted by her self-defense trainer, sparking widespread protests, police reported. The trainer, identified as Satish (45), has been arrested. Satish had been conducting free self-defense classes through an NGO but was not a regular teacher at the school.
According to a senior police officer, the victim's family members and neighbors gathered outside the police station, demanding strict action. The victim's father stated that his daughter had called him in the afternoon, alleging inappropriate conduct by the trainer, who also threatened her. The incident was reported to both the school principal and local police.
A case has been registered at Sultanpuri police station under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The victim is currently undergoing counseling and a medical examination. Investigations continue, police said.
